KeiganMotor has a USB Micro-B port and two I2C ports (common bus) and serial communication is available using either of them.
- USB: can be connected to PC etc using a USB Type-A to micro-B cable
- I2C: can be connected to your micro-controller board such as Arduino or Raspberry pi
Access to the ports
Remove Connector cover as follows. There are a USB Micro-B port and I2C ports inside.
1.Remove the screw with Phillips head screw driver.
Please hold the screw by finger to prevent it from adhering to the rotor when removing it.
2.Pinch and pick up the screw side of Connector cover. Rotate it making the other side as a fulcrum.
3.Pull out Connector cover.

USB serial communication setting is as follows.
Connect Type-A side to PC or your board and connect micro-B side to KeiganMotor.
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: CTS on, RTS on (Hardware)
I2C serial communication setting is as follows.
(It can be changed using I2CSlaveAddress command)
